The Camaro earned high marks for its modern connectivity technology, impressive powertrain options, and affordable sticker price. Every Camaro is equipped with modern tech tools like Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto, and a built-in Wi-Fi® hotspot.

“As one of the more affordable muscle cars on the road, the Camaro features an impressive lineup of powerful V6 and V8 engines,” state the editors of U.S. News and World Report. The model’s available powertrains run the gamut from 275 to 650 horsepower.

The Corvette, on the other hand, scored the highest among sports cars on the list. It wowed the judges with its Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, and intuitive smartphone integration. Naturally, its 490-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 and 2.9-second 0-60 time helped it speed ahead of the competition, too.

“Redesigned for the 2020 model year, the Chevrolet Corvette sits atop our ranking of luxury sports cars as well as our rating of luxury convertibles,” the publication said of the mid-engine marvel. “Now in its eighth generation, the classic nameplate sports a mid-engine layout and a modern interior.”

Chevy Brings Virtual Reality Experience to Detroit

Automatic head beams, adaptive cruise control, voice commands— these are just three of many of the advanced technologies now available in most cars, which are rapidly reaching nearly sci-fi levels of intelligence. To stick with that theme, Chevrolet has put a futuristic twist on the way it does auto shows by introducing a virtual reality experience at this year’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Chevrolet included the setup at the show to offer guests a new way to truly experience their vehicles. Dubbed the “Chevrolet Virtual Dynamics Lab 4D Experience,” though we’ll just call it Chevy VR for short, it focused on the Chevrolet Camaro. Guests only had to put on the head pieces to be transported to the front seats of one of the country’s most iconic muscle cars.

Though auto shows are an exciting time for everyone, the ability to get into a car and see what it would be like on the road is limited. Chevy VR was built to turn users into passengers in one of several different Chevrolet vehicles, allowing them to experience them in ways otherwise impossible at an auto show.

Fortunately, you can experience the real thing by visiting ELCO Chevrolet and taking an in-person look at your favorite Chevy car, sitting in the cabin, and taking it out for a test drive.
