For the 25th year, AutoPacific conducted its New Vehicle Satisfaction Survey to determine which vehicles 89,000 car owners were most satisfied with. Based on the survey results, three Chevy models took home 2021 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards.
AutoPacific found that the Chevy Camaro is the most satisfying sporty car. Owners appreciated the Camaro’s stylish paint options and exterior design. On the inside, the car received high marks for having easy-to-understand controls, great driver’s seat adjustability, and a sizeable center screen. And, of course, it provided great braking and responsive handling.
Topping the compact pickup category, the Chevy Colorado earned praise for its intuitive center touch screen, exterior design, solid visibility from the driver’s seat, and easy-to-use controls. This truck also was recognized for being fun to drive, providing plenty of power and acceleration.
The Blazer was named the top premium mid-size crossover SUV. It’s easy to get in and out of, has a conveniently adjustable driver’s seat, and provides a comfortable ride. Plus, owners noted that the SUV has a sporty style and is fun to drive thanks to a pair of great engine options.
To find the Chevy model that will satisfy your needs, be sure to visit ELCO Chevrolet in Ballwin, Missouri, for a test drive.

The Fourth of July is right around the corner, so it’s time to start making plans and getting together your best red, white, and blue outfit. There’s no better way to celebrate America’s independence than by gathering alongside your fellow Americans, so celebrate Independence Day in St. Louis this year by attending one of the city’s fun, patriotic events. Here are a couple we recommend.
Fair Saint Louis: Since the Fourth of July falls on a Wednesday this year, Fair Saint Louis will take place July 4, 6, and 7 at the Arch grounds. The fair is free and features tons of ways to keep the whole family entertained, including live music, games in the Festival Zone, and a nationally-recognized fireworks display each evening of the fair. On July 6th, the fair will feature a live musical performance by Jason Derulo and Andy Grammer, and on July 7th, Martina McBride will perform.
July 4th Fest: Running from June 30th to July 4th, Six Flags will host a festival to celebrate our country and its independence. There will be a fireworks display each of the five nights, festive food available for purchase, and rides will run late, so head to the park with friends for a fun, festive, and thrilling celebration of the Fourth of July.
The 4th of July is one of our favorite days of the year. Let us know how you plan to celebrate at ELCO Chevrolet — and while you’re at it, head to the festivals in style with a brand new car!

As the temperatures start to drop and it gets more uncomfortable outside, you probably have a checklist of things you do, like making sure everyone has a coat and boots that fit and sealing up any air leaks you might have around your windows or doors. But, you don’t want to forget about your car. Here is your car’s cold weather checklist.
Antifreeze. This fluid does exactly as its name implies. It helps maintain proper temperatures in your engine when it is really cold outside so the pipes and moving parts don’t freeze. Make sure the fluid level is correct and it has not been diluted.
Lights. As the nights get longer, you will be using your headlights more often. Make sure all of your exterior lights are working and angled correctly.
Tires. Wet leaves on the road and dropping temperatures can lead to slick conditions. If your tires are running bald, you might not be able to stay on the road. Check your tires’ tread depth and consider switching to winter tires.
Emergency kit. Pack an emergency kit in your car with items like blankets, road flares, an extra cell phone and battery, high-energy snacks, water and Gatorade, and other items you might need if you get stuck on the side of the road.
If you need help preparing your car for cold weather, schedule a service appointment with us at ELCO Chevrolet.
