The Tahoe and the Suburban are a dominant part of the SUV market, comprising 31 and 15 percent of last year’s sales for the entire segment, respectively. After the reveal of the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban — which showcased the next generation of the lineup — you’ll find exciting new engine options, interior features, and more.
The 2021 SUV lineup comes with an updated pair
of small-block V8 engines — which optimize performance without sacrificing fuel
economy — as well as an independent rear suspension for optimal handling and
ride comfort. You’ll also be able to opt for a new inline six-cylinder diesel
engine for increased torque and impressive fuel efficiency.
“To prepare for this launch, we’ve
invested more than $1.4 billion in Arlington since 2015, including an all-new
paint shop, body shop, and many other state-of-the-art manufacturing
technologies,” said GM President Mark Reuss. “Which leads to my final
point: the reason we invested in all of that and worked so hard to develop
these new SUVs — we are here to win.”
While Chevrolet’s SUV design expertise dates
back to 1935, the 2021 model year vehicles have a wide range of thoroughly
modern innovations. You’ll find in-vehicle Wi-Fi connectivity, available
wireless charging, access to phone apps, and more. Plus, with a bold exterior
design update, the Tahoe and Suburban will turn heads wherever you go.
We can’t wait to see you here at ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac for an SUV revolution when the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban launch later this year.
Chevrolet is giving its customers more options by introducing Tahoe and Suburban Premier Plus special editions for the 2019 model year. These new special edition models include special features and a powerful V8 engine. In addition, drivers will find an array of luxury features on these vehicles.
According to Chevrolet, the Chevy Premier Plus special editions will come with a 6.2-liter V8 engine in the 6.2-liter Performance Package. With the 6.2-liter engine, the special editions generate 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Other features in the package include Magnetic Ride Control and a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission.
“Our customers have shown strong demand for both Tahoe and Suburban with the 6.2-liter V8 option,” said Sandor Piszar, director of Chevrolet Trucks Marketing and Advertising. “Thirty-six percent of all Chevy full-size SUV special edition models are now sold with this engine. Premier Plus gives both Suburban and Tahoe customers another option to choose from with several added premium touches.”
Premium amenities on the special editions include Black or Mahogany leather front seats, as well as bold black trim surround. Enlarged wheels, special bowties and chrome nameplates help these vehicles stand out.
